  3. Because you cannot change the order of a field after you move it, select first the field you want to appear at the top of the Dimensions box. Press the TAB key to select the > button, and then press ENTER.

  4. Press CONTROL+ENTER
  5. then use the keyboard to select AutoShape on the Format menu.
  6. Select the options you want on the available tabs.


18.2 Insert a text box by using the keyboard

  1. Use the keyboard to select the Text Box
  2. Press CONTROL+ENTER.
  3. Type the text you want in the text box.
  4. When you finish typing and want to switch back to the worksheet, press ESCAPE twice.
  5. select Text Box on the Format menu, and then select the options you want on the available tabs.


18.3 Insert a WordArt object by using the keyboard

  1. Use the keyboard to select WordArt (Insert menu, Picture submenu).
  2. Use the arrow keys to select the WordArt style you want, and then press ENTER.
  3. Type the text you want, and then use the TAB key to select other options in the dialog box.
  4. Press ENTER to insert the WordArt object.
  5. select WordArt on the Format menu, and then select the options you want on the available tabs.


18.4 Select a drawing object by using the keyboard

If your insertion point is on the worksheet, do the following:
  1. Press F10 to make the menu bar active.
  2. Press CONTROL+TAB to select the Drawing toolbar.
  3. Press the RIGHT ARROW key to select the Select Objects button on the Drawing toolbar.
  4. Press CONTROL+ENTER to select the first drawing object.
  5. Press the TAB key to cycle forward (or SHIFT+TAB to cycle backward) through the objects until sizing handles appear on the object you want to select.
If your insertion point is within text in a drawing object, do the following:
  1. Press the TAB key to cycle forward (or SHIFT+TAB to cycle backward) through the objects until sizing handles appear on the object you want to select.
To switch from object selection mode back to working in cells, press ESCAPE.


18.5 Change the size of a drawing object by using the keyboard

  1. Use the keyboard to select the drawing object you want to resize.
  2. On the Format menu, select the command for the type of object selected - for example, AutoShape or Text Box - and then choose the Size tab.
  3. Select the options you want.
For help on an option, select the option, and then press SHIFT+F1.


18.6 Copy the attributes of a drawing object by using the keyboard

  1. Use the keyboard to select the drawing object with the attributes you want to copy.
    (If you select an AutoShape with attached text, the look and style of the text as well as the attributes of the AutoShape are copied.)
  2. Press CONTROL+SHIFT+C to copy the object attributes.
  3. Press TAB or SHIFT+TAB to select the object you want to copy the attributes to.
  4. Press CONTROL+SHIFT+V to copy the attributes to the object.
Tip You can select any menu command on the menu bar or on a visible toolbar with the keyboard.
  1. To select the menu bar, press ALT.
  2. Then to select a toolbar, press CONTROL+TAB repeatedly until you select the toolbar you want.
  3. Press the underlined letter in the menu name that contains the command you want.
  4. In the menu that appears, press the underlined letter in the command name that you want.
